Jared Kushner bragged in April that Trump was taking the country 'back from the doctors'. “Trump's now back in charge. It's not the doctors." Calling political parties a "collection of tribes," Kushner dismissed GOP activists who help craft the party's platform of policy ideas and aspirations as out of touch with regular voters. "You know, parties as they grow tend to be more about being exclusive than inclusive," Kushner mused. "And so, you know, you look at, like, the Republican Party platform, it's a document meant to, like, piss people off basically. Because it's done by activists."

Trump's unhappy warrior pitch to voters includes insults and highly specific grievances. -- Seriously. How does anyone continue to support him when he insults them and their community? When he makes it so blatantly clear that he doesn’t want to be there with them? He literally despises the people who make up his base.

Trump wants credit for 'fastest GDP growth in history.' Here's a reality check. But the reality is more complicated. The economy was recovering from a 31.4 percent drop in the previous quarter, the worst decline ever recorded, amid mass stay-at-home orders. And experts say the path to fully making up the losses is rocky — particularly with coronavirus case numbers rising faster than ever before in the U.S. and a lack of a stimulus package.

The anonymous Trump official who wrote a New York Times op-ed has come forward. People are upset. Overall, though, this late revelation is unlikely to do much to affect the election — except for making the president angry.

The longest trail of fossilized human footprints hints at a risky Ice Age trek. On a day during the late Ice Age, a young adult or teen carrying a toddler hustled across a muddy flat where mammoths and giant sloths roamed. Now, over 10,000 years later, fossilized footprints reveal that possibly perilous journey. The tracks, found in New Mexico’s White Sands National Park, stretch for nearly 1.5 kilometers across the plain and back, making them the longest set ever found
